Renegade Urban Winery, Janet 2022

One of the coolest wineries going, Renegade have been producing wine in the heart of East London since 2016. Making everything from your classics to the more avant-garde, Renegade put a real emphasis on the most important part of wine: the people. Each label shows the eyes of a different person who lives in the UK who each forms a key part of the rich tapestry that makes our island so special. Janet is made from 100% Malvasia grown in Puglia, Italy. The grapes were destemmed by hand and fermented for 15 days, after which they spent another week on the skins before being pressed-off and aged for 7-months in oak. Gorgeously textured, golden in colour; with nutty, honey and savoury aromas.
